for the north atlantic...caribbean sea and the gulf of mexico...

the national hurricane center has issued the last advisory on
tropical depression eight. the remnants are located about 795 miles
west-northwest of the cape verde islands. 

elsewhere...tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the
next 48 hours.
